The First Night Nobody Talks About
That moment when they hand you a baby and expect you to just... know what to do. Spoiler: you won't. And that's okay.

It was 3:47 AM. I know because I checked my phone approximately 47 times that hour. Barča was crying. Again. And I was crying too. Again.
Nobody prepares you for the first night at home. The hospital, with its nurses and call buttons, feels like a safety net. Then suddenly you're home, and this tiny human is entirely your responsibility.
Here's what I wish someone had told me:
1. Your baby doesn't need you to be perfect
They need you to be present. Warm. Trying. That's it.
2. "Sleep when the baby sleeps" is garbage advice
Sometimes the baby sleeps and you just need to stare at the ceiling and exist. That's valid.
3. You will feel like you're failing
You're not. If you're worried about being a good parent, you already are one.
"The days are long but the years are short. And somehow, you'll miss even this."
